08/11/2005: "Hello, it's a babbling extremeist..."

Ok, I'm resettled. I remember what all the buttons do. Now towards the future, and I'd like to start that with a complaint.

Adam Carolla is a very boring man. Not that I didn't know that allready, the man was co-host of THE MAN SHOW, which was dedicated to Beer, breasts, midgets, and everything else I would atribute to the downfall of concious thought in the 21st century. But his new show "Too Late with Adam Carolla" takes him out of a mindless setting, and brings his individual mindlessness to light. Why do I watch it if it sucks so much? Cause I'm up late a lot, and out of my choices of shows, I will watch his and indluge in the guilty pleasure of watching the ex-co-host of THE MAN SHOW failing miserably on live TV. At least I think it's live. As long as he fails.

Aside from that, I've been considering how sex is a bigger taboo then death. Not by much, but it is.
We could use some sort of religion that accepts sex. We know each one deals with death...heaven, hell, reincarnation, Nirvana, yeah yeah yeah...problem is we don't know for sure. How about we just say "You're gonna die, come to accept it." and then we worry about what's going on in this life, cause we are assured this one exists, but how long it lasts is still up for grabs. And as for the sex, bring it to the same level. I mean, I guess it's more tabooey cause it is a very private and inter act. But we need something that says "Yeah sure, sex happens, just be open about it and careful as you go." Having clandestine groups and secrets in society is a major contributor (I would think) of the corruption and degading of the society. And having something like sex and death out in the open takes us one step closer to the kind of utopian society where all people are one in mind.

Mmmm...that's a good enough update for now. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some old schoo Starfox and some reasing to get to.
