04/28/2005: "Oh no! Argyle ninja!"

So anyway...I'm starting to think I'm to much art. But just by a bit. Basically cause I notice that in both if my classes with Woodring, any time anybody says or does something drastically stupid, before she starts cracking up, Woodring will look over to me, kind of as if to say "Did you hear what this doot-du-doo just said?!?" Plus when she was strugling with part of the demonstration for the printmaking project we're on, she handed it to me to do. Of course, I got her back with the smart ass comment "What if you want to make a zebra?". She just looked at me and said "You sunnva-" Under her breath of course. Then, when she added "You're lucky I know you so well" the faces around the class room became confused.

I guess this really isn't a bad thing. I mean, I've allready proven that I can get away with being a bigger smartass that way (and I'm sure you know I have a gratutius amount of smartass to be). Maybe it's just all in my head, and goes back to the loss of connection that teachers are people too. It's the power role where they just become authoritty figures, and more an obsticle than anything else. Besides, I never really see my teachers outside of school. I've seen gym teachers 3 times and a science teacher once. And every encounter was at the mall. I don't like the mall, so that wasn't very encouraging.

The other thing...Yes yes the other thing...For some reason, I like the walk from the busses to the school building. Why? Ummm...lame as it is I take it as a challenge. My bus is the first bus to come in, and so is always the farthest to the right. I enter the school up the rounded stairs on the far left because they are closet to my locker and 1st period class then any other entrance. And I'd rather deal with manuvering around people outside then inside. And that's the challenge I like. To weave an intricate path between every person out there to try and make my way to the building as quickly as possible. Lame I know, but I still like it.

And when I do my puesdo-urban ninja thing, music choice is suprisingly importaint. I'm sure you're all aware that (for a majority at least) people's moods are affected by music. So I need something agressive while I'm doing my thing. If something soft comes on, I get tired, grove things make me easy going (which does give flow, but isn't effective enough), and anything dark-emo makes me just stare at the sky with the sun comming up. You know, all dramatic like.

Anyway, back to satire writing and picture sketching. And incase you haven't heard yet...
