03/07/2005: "DOG PWND!"

Yes, so anyway... YEARAGH!!! This day is pissing me off. I woke and had this weird ass dream about school and Spanish 3 and having 2 lockers and shit and it just left me pissed if after I woke up cause it was one of those where the feelings stay with you. So then I was feeling a bit "errrrnnn..." while getting ready for school and one I left I was to the point where I had visions of screaming at a little girl offering me a flower, and stabing everyone else. Then I got to art class and fell asleep. I got yelled at for sleeping, and since I didn't get enough at once but was actually completly out, now I'm gonna be giddy and tired and delusional for the rest of the day and that's just annoying too!

Well, School's only half over, so I'll see what the rest of the day brings. I got 2 rented games waiting for me when I get home, so that's not bad. OF course, it's the Fight Club game and the Street Fighter Aniversary Edition. Fight Club looks good, but the engine is pretty basic, it's lacking on movies and voices, and even the sound track leaves variation to be desiered. But aparently you can unlock Abe Lincoln as a playable character, so that give me something to work for. The key is to learn the "headbutt" and "Break Bone" button combos, which are easy at that. Street Fighter has always been a clasic, but this one is pissing me off. The controls aren't being very responsive and even on easy the computer is cheap and almost imposible. I'll have to see about getting me some Capcom VS SNK next time around... To sum up, neither one of these gets the LCom Seal of Approval. Fight Club is bloddy and kinda pretty at that, but could have used much more work before being released, and Street Fighter is good if you're an old fan of the series, but I would go for some of the newer games if you're looking for something meant to be played on PS2. Come to think of it, SF did include the SF Animated movie, so I should watch that when I get home. And I'll use my retro-con...yeah, I think I can make this work just enough...

Other then that: Things, numbers, and explosions. If anything changes by later I'll keep you posted.
