02/10/2005: "Big time out side view finder."

Did I mention that I'm a damned genius? I mean, I really don't think I'm one. I just think it's that I think. Whatever the case, all I know is that my grades last quarted were much better then I thought they were gonna be. And because I'm tired of people asking me what I got, and me not remembering, I'm just putting my grades here.

I can explain some of that... My Global went down because of...I think one project that nobody even knew about, much less did, one test where I missed two pages and got a 50, and maybe 3 missed homeworks. English...well, I have Brozycki. DDP is my non studio art class, and the midterm was "build a cube". Chem is freaking hard. Math...I have no idea. I think I'm good at math, but only because I can enter a store, buy something, and come out with more money then I go in with.

Did I ever tell you the secret to resoning what you do to your car? It's simple. Watch:

"Here, do this ::does something::"

"What does that do?"

"Makes the car go faster."

See? Don't care what it is. New exhuast? Makes the car go faster. Flame decals on the side? Makes the car go faster. Fill the backseat with empty soda cans and candy wrapers? MAKES THE CAR GO FASTER. It's true. And that brings me to the game I rented. Need for Speed: Underground 2. This get's the LCom seal of approval for 2 reasons. One being the extensive customability of the cars. The stock cars may not be much, but you can trick them out like there's no tomorrow! I got CUSTOM GAUGES. With a CAT on them. I GOT KITTY GAUGES SO THE GAME GETS THE SEAL. Then I got the hydrolics and neon and audio system, so that helped it. Big pimpin' shit yeah. The other thing is that the race modes are quite expansive. There's quick races where you just go, or if you do the career mode you have to drive around the city to find the races and shops to upgrade your car and race. And while you're going around, you can challenge random people on the street to races. I like that. Anyone, anytime, right here. The only bad thing I have to say about the game is that the physics are off by quite a bit. Your car always land on its wheels, the handling is waayyyy too loose, even with the best handling cars, and crash recognition is a bit freaky.

Before I get off games, I got a free one! Well, it wasn't really free...it cost me all my PS2 saves. But since it happened to a lot of people, Sony sent them free games and I got in on that. I had to send the faulty disc back, and I was worried it wouldn't get there in time, but I guess it did then. I got Wild Arms 3. It's a wild west RPG, so I'm a bit...yeah...but considering the were only offering all the games they couldn't sell in the first place, I don't think I did to badly. I'll have to see how that works out.

For now, I'm gonna work more on this art peice, then go to bed.
